You’re sitting on the window-sill, trying your best to read a book but somehow the scene that plays between two mutant friends a few meters ahead of you seems more interesting than the collection of words pressed together into a story.

Your eyes travel towards the telepath of the two who’s standing only a meter or five away from Erik, fumbling with a gun in his hands. “I don’t know...”he muses. “Just do it Charles.”Erik tells him on which Charles points the gun at his friend and aims at his shoulder.
Excitement washes over you. Both Charles and Erik are really close friends of you, almost brothers actually. But Erik can be a pain in the ass sometimes so you would be lying if you didn’t found the thought of the metalmanipulator getting shot atleast a bit apealing. Especially after he ratted you out to Charles about the fact that you had sneaked away f

Hello all ~

As I said in my last journal, I've decided to hold an 'X-Men: First Class' themed contest!
I just loved that movie, and in particular the way the young Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr have been represented.
That's why I am looking for more art about them (if you're a writer, go down to the literary section!)

Changed the prizes, now they're bigger
Now every participant will get 10 points for each entry he submits! (but only one can win)
Maximum number of entries per participant: 3

Contest Start: April 1, 2013
Contest End: May 12, 2013 (extended, waiting for the other entries)

Deadline might be extended if necessary
If there aren't at least 10 participants, the contest will be cancelled

What you have to draw
Young Erik Lensherr/Magneto and Charles Xavier/Professor X from the movie 'X:Men First Class'

RULES

You can submit up to 3 entries
You can draw them both* or only one, your choice!
You can draw them in full-body or waist-up
You can draw them in the style you like the most (even chibi)
Both digital* and traditional art is accepted
The drawing must be colored (in pencil is fine too)
The drawing can be cool, cute, funny.. whatever you want!
DO NOT draw them as a couple, I don't like it ;___;  (so just consider their normal friendship relation)
You can also make a little comic if you want
If you need, you can draw some other X-Men characters too

[NEW] Small LITTERATURE contest section

I've created this section to give to writers too the possibility to join
However, since I guess there will be less participants in this section, and since I was actually looking for art, there will be smaller prizes.
Here the minimum of participants is one xD (as I said I'm less interested in literature)
Note: If there are (I don't know how lol) more than 5 participants, I'll give more and bigger prizes.

RULES

The story can be a oneshot or a fanfiction (up to 3 chapters)
The story must be focused on Charles and Erik (consider them as friends just like in the movie)
You can add other characters too, but only from the same movie
(Not really a rule) If the story has a 'Reader Insert' I would love it ~ (You know, it's cool to be part of the story)
